General Job Description
We are hiring a skilled and dependable EPA Certified Residential HVAC Technician III to join our team in the North Houston / Conroe area. If you’re customer‑focused, enjoy problem‑solving, and take pride in quality craftsmanship, we want you on our team. You will work in a variety of residential environments installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems with an emphasis on excellent service and long‑term customer relationships.
PrimaryResponsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair residential HVAC systems, including Central A/C units, Heat pumps, Furnaces, and Ductless systems.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure system efficiency and longevity.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose heating and cooling issues quickly and accurately.
- Communicate repair options and pricing clearly to homeowners before work begins.
- Educate customers on system usage, filter changes, and basic maintenance.
- Ensure all work complies with local building codes, safety standards, and EPA 608 regulations.
- Maintain accurate documentation of service calls, materials used, and time on site.
- Minimum of 5 years of residential HVAC experience (required).
- High school diploma or GED (required).
- EPA 608 Certification (Type II or Universal preferred).
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Familiarity with modern diagnostic tools and mobile work order systems.
- Comfortable working in attics, crawlspaces, and outdoor conditions.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, kneel/stand for extended periods.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English; bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly.
- Ability to climb ladders and work at heights when needed.
- Comfortable kneeling, standing, and working on your feet for extended periods.
- Ability to work in tight spaces (attics, crawlspaces, closets, etc.).
- Must be able to work outdoors in Texas heat and changing weather conditions.
Various residential settings including attics, crawlspaces, rooftops and outdoor condenser areas, hot, humid, dusty, or confined spaces, and customer homes requiring professionalism, cleanliness, and respect.
