Utility Meter Reader

Aggregate Water Services is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Utility Meter Reader to join our team in Conroe, TX. This is a great opportunity to work outdoors, serve your local community, and build a career in the essential utility services industry.

• Read and record water meter data accurately across assigned residential and commercial routes
• Identify and report damaged, malfunctioning, or tampered meters to supervisors
• Document meter readings using handheld electronic data collection devices
• Navigate routes efficiently on foot or by vehicle in varying weather conditions
• Communicate with customers professionally regarding meter access and related concerns
• Report unusual water usage patterns or potential leaks to the appropriate department
• Maintain accurate daily logs and complete all required field documentation

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Valid driver s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to walk extended distances and work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy
• Basic math skills and comfort using handheld electronic devices
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Prior experience in utility services, meter reading, or field work is a plus
