Position: Building Crew Assembler / E-House & Enclosure Installer

About Ameritex
Ameritex Machine & Fabrication is a fast-growing Texas-based manufacturer specializing in high-mix,
quick-turn fabrication of industrial metal structures — including generator enclosures, E-houses, and
modular buildings used in power generation, oil & gas, and infrastructure. We’re expanding our Building
Crew responsible for assembling, erecting, and finishing our industrialized metal buildings both
in-house and in the field.

Position Summary
The Building Crew Assembler works as part of a team to assemble, erect, and complete modular metal
structures including wall systems, roofs, door and window installations, and interior build-outs. This role
combines mechanical assembly, light welding, and field installation work. Ideal candidates are
detail-oriented, comfortable with tools and shop equipment, and take pride in producing high-quality
finished products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and erect modular metal buildings, generator enclosures, and E-houses according to engineered drawings.
  • Install wall and roof panels, insulation, doors, windows, and hardware.
  • Perform light welding and fitting work as required (training provided).
  • Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and standard fabrication tools safely.
  • Follow blueprints, assembly drawings, and work instructions with precision.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Communicate effectively with team leads and project managers regarding progress and quality.
  • Assist with rigging and loading for shipment or field installation as needed.
Qualifications
  • 1–3 years of experience in metal building assembly, modular structures, or industrial fabrication preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and tape measurements.
  • Experience using hand tools, impact guns, grinders, and basic welding equipment.
  • Forklift experience (certification preferred).
  • Strong work ethic and teamwork attitude.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed to meet project schedules.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders or platforms.
