Marine Technician​/Boat Mechanic – Inboard & Outboard

We are seeking an experienced Marine Technician / Boat Mechanic to join an established marine service company. This position requires hands-on experience diagnosing, repairing, servicing, and maintaining marine engines in a professional service environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and diagnostic abilities, experience troubleshooting marine engine systems, and the ability to complete repairs independently while maintaining a high standard of quality and safety.

• Diagnose and repair inboard and outboard marine engines
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, fuel, ignition, starting, charging, and cooling-system issues
• Complete routine maintenance including tune-ups, oil changes, impeller replacement, lower-unit service, and related repairs
• Read and interpret service manuals and wiring diagrams
• Test engines following repairs to verify proper operation
• Accurately document completed repairs and service work
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Perform repairs independently and efficiently

• Minimum 3 years of professional marine engine repair experience
• Hands-on experience working with inboard and/or outboard marine engines
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Experience diagnosing mechanical and electrical marine-engine issues
• Experience using marine diagnostic equipment
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Experience with major marine engine manufacturers is preferred
• Must have own mechanic tools
• Valid Driver's License
• High School Diploma or GED
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite
