Behavioral Health Technician

Position Overview

Full‑time day shifts (7‑7) with PRN opportunities and rotating weekends. Position located at Woodland Springs, a 96‑bed behavioral health hospital in Conroe, Texas, part of Lifepoint Health. As a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT), you will provide care and support to patients with psychiatric and substance use disorders.

• Conduct functional analyses of patient behavior, contributing to the Master Treatment Plan and implementing appropriate interventions.
• Deliver individual and group psycho‑education, leisure activities, and life‑skill training and coaching to all patients.
• Monitor patient and unit safety.

• High school diploma preferred.
• Prior experience in a psychiatric health care facility, especially with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric and geriatric patients.
• CPR certification and Handle With Care training within 30 days of employment. Must be at least 21 years old.
