The Adult Probation Intensive Case Manager provides continuity of care, case management and rehabilitative skills training/psychosocial rehabilitative training for adult individuals on felony probation.

This position's duties will include the following:
  • Links adult individuals to community resources and supports probation program requirements
  • Performs assessment/treatment planning activities
  • Provide services in accordance within all contract requirements
  • This is a community mental health position with the office as the primary work location. The typical work day starts and ends at the office and services are provided in the community and homes across the designated service area.
  • Responsible for providing all services using a trauma informed approach: creating a safe environment based on trust, transparency, collaboration, mutuality, and peer support while encouraging empowerment, and acceptance of voice and choice of individuals served, and demonstrating respect for cultural, historical, and gender issues.
  • This position involves travel to clients’ homes and/or other community settings using personal vehicle.

This what you'll need:
  • Bachelor's Degree in the Human Services Field
  • Qualify as a QMHP
  • 3 years' experience working with persons with mental health challenges
  • Clear criminal record validated by a TDCJ NCIC check prior to beginning work and annually
  • Valid driver's license and insurable through Tri-County
  • Background in the Criminal Justice system
  • Ability to pass computer competency, outlook and typing testing
  • Experience with Microsoft Office software preferred

online solicitation of a minor, money laundering, Medicaid fraud, Medicare fraud, cruelty to animals, false identification as a peace officer, disorderly conduct, and discharges of a firearm in a public place other than a public road or a sport shooting range, as defined by Section 250.001, Local Government Code. Offenses that are not an absolute bar to employment but may be considered a contraindication will also be considered during the pre-employment process.
