As a Shipper and Receiver, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely movement of equipment and materials in and out of our facility. This includes organizing shipments, receiving incoming materials, documenting transactions, and supporting the Rental Technicians with equipment logistics and handling.
Shipping & Receiving- Provide equipment to QAQC group that requires prep to ship modifications.
- Pick equipment and cable from inventory / QAQC group as required for each project.
- Prioritizing Rental orders, then accurately scan all rental equipment and cable into Fame Air rental order
- Create bills of lading and equipment packing lists and manage their implementation for each order
- Load equipment to transport vehicles / trailers for each project and undertake the associated documentation process associated
- Receive all incoming Parts, materials and consumables. Complete documentation process as required.
- Off load returned rental equipment from transport vehicles
- Scan and return rental equipment to accurately and timely modify rental orders
- Inspect rental equipment and cable for physical damages and complete related Report
- Clean equipment and cable so items are presentable and conforming to our rental ready standards
- Move equipment and cable to QAQC holding areas and move equipment and cable from QAQC completion area to rental warehouse
- Organizing Yard and warehouse to achieve optimal storage for equipment.
- Ensure all equipment, tools and materials are organized and maintain general order and cleanliness of rental shop, yard and common areas
- Assist with ordering consumables materials for rental shipping and receiving activities
- 2+ years of heavy forklift experience; 30,000 lbs.
- 2+ years of experience operating an overhead bridge crane.
- Ability to carry out the physical requirement of the position including the ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to work beyond regular work hours and weekends to meet customer deadlines as required
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional telephone manner
- Able to make decisions and coordinate work based on information given by supervisor.
- High degree of professionalism and maturity
- Ability to take direction and accept responsibility
- Ability to work autonomously and remain self-motivated
- Ability to work safely and effectively under deadline pressure
- Detail oriented, with strong organizational skills
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Knowledge and experience with shipping & receiving procedures
- Familiar with use of inventory management software
