Shop Helper

A highly respected underground utility construction company, Reddico Construction Company, Inc. has been operating out of Conroe, Texas since 1978. The company is employee-oriented and offers great benefits to its loyal employees.

Looking for a motivated self-starter, able to work unsupervised with minimal direction.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 7am – 5:30 pm.

• Cleaning and maintenance: keep the shop clean and organized; perform basic maintenance on shop equipment.
• Cleaning the yard and facility grounds, including yard work.
• Assist with inventory management, stocking and organizing supplies.
• Load and unload delivery trucks.
• Assist with loading and unloading Reddico trucks and trailers.
• Communicate with supervisors, drivers, project managers and administrative staff.
• General mechanical knowledge and/or experience
• Lifting and moving up to 50 pounds; able to bend, climb, stoop and stand.
• Able to tolerate and work in both high and low temperatures.
• Shop porter which requires a valid Texas drivers license and good driving record.
• Experience operating wheel loaders is a plus, but not required.
• Experience with metal working, i.e. welding and/or cutting is a plus, but not required.
• Follow all procedures: company policies, safety and environmental regulations; state and federal law.

Pay rate is based on experience.
