General Labor position responsible for supporting production and fabrication tasks.
Key Responsibilities and Duties- Shipping & Receiving
:
Load and unload trailers, inspect incoming cargo, and verify materials against documentation. - Order Fulfillment
:
Pick, pack, and ship orders, including building pallets and wrapping goods. - Inventory Control
:
Sort, organize, and restock warehouse shelves, ensuring accurate inventory records. - Equipment Operation
:
Use manual or electric pallet jacks, hand trucks, and scan guns. - Facility Maintenance
:
Maintain a clean, organized workspace to ensure a safe, compliant environment.
Skills and Qualifications
- Physical Stamina
:
Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry heavy objects regularly. - Safety Adherence
:
Strict compliance with OSHA and company safety standards. - Efficiency
:
Ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment. - Teamwork
:
Collaborate effectively with team members to meet deadlines. - Education
: A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Fast-paced, team-oriented, and often repetitive.
- Can require working in varied temperatures, such as in cold storage, and standing for long periods.
