The Order Puller Associate will stock incoming merchandise and fill orders for
customers. At AFW, we are proud that customers can pick up their furniture and
promise to the customer.
The Order Puller will safely operate a Stock Picker, Reach Truck, Sit Down
Forklift, and any other equipment necessary to transport merchandise for
customers and other departments. We provide full training and certifications for
all equipment.
Previous experience operating warehouse equipment, such as forklift, pallet
jack, and cherry picker helpful but not required.
- Ability to have a flexible schedule and work all shifts, holidays, and weekends.
weekends. We are a retail operation so that means we need you during our
operation hours which are Sunday - Saturday, 10 am - 10 pm.
Some warehouse
shifts are overnight and come with an additional pay premium
Operate material handling equipment to move products within the warehouse.
- Correctly use a hand truck.
- Capacity to effectively work independently of direct supervision.
- Work as a team member by interacting and communicating with fellow associates
Ability to lift, lower, push and pull all sizes of merchandise up to 100 lbs.
and the skill to handle/manipulate merchandise up to 250 lbs. frequently.
