Maintenance Manager – Industrial Manufacturing

Location: Conshohocken, PA
Salary: $110,000–$130,000 annually + bonus opportunity up to 20%

Henpen Staffing Consultants is recruiting a Maintenance Manager for a confidential, financially stable manufacturer with more than 60 years in business and just under 100 employees.

This hands-on leadership role oversees plant maintenance and leads a team of up to 10 maintenance technicians, including electricians and mechanics. The ideal candidate brings strong industrial maintenance expertise, proven supervisory experience, and the ability to improve equipment reliability while supporting safe, efficient production.

What You’ll Do

• Lead daily maintenance activities for production equipment, utilities, and facility infrastructure.
• Supervise, train, develop, and evaluate maintenance mechanics and electricians.
• Prioritize work orders, schedule repairs, and coordinate maintenance resources with production needs.
• Develop and strengthen preventive and predictive maintenance programs to reduce downtime.
• Guide troubleshooting of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated equipment.
• Investigate recurring equipment failures and implement root cause corrective actions.
• Plan plant shutdowns, maintenance outages, and major repairs.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and work order documentation.
• Manage maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, vendors, and outside contractors.
• Support equipment installations, upgrades, facility modifications, and capital projects.
• Enforce lockout/tagout procedures, electrical safety practices, and applicable OSHA, electrical code, and environmental requirements.

Required Qualifications

• At least 5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally 5–10 years.
• At least 5 years of supervisory or management experience overseeing maintenance personnel.
• Experience supervising both electricians and mechanical maintenance technicians.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, motors, PLC controls, and industrial automation.
• Working knowledge of conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs, maintenance planning, and work order systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, technical drawings, and equipment manuals.
• Strong troubleshooting, organizational, communication, and team development skills.

A college degree is not required.
