Mathnasium of Converse is looking for an exceptional Math Instructor to create an engaging and productive learning experience for students. This is a part-time role with flexible hours.

Responsibilities:

Provide exceptional instruction services to students
Positively interact with parents
Become proficient with digital educational materials & processes
Teach in-center, online (only after 6 months of in-center instruction), and/or via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices which include individualized instruction in a group setting
Assess students’ progress throughout instructional sessions, and work collaboratively with team members to deliver the best instruction

Qualifications:

Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra 2
A passion for math and working with students

About Us
We have been open for seven years and have a great team of instructors (mostly high school and college). We typically employ 10-14 instructors so we are pretty small. This job looks great on your resume because of the focus on helping students. We also have several volunteer opportunities throughout the year.

Mathnasium locations are independently owned and operated by franchisees of Mathnasium Center Licensing, LLC ("Mathnasium"). Franchisees are independent business people and not employed by Mathnasium. Thus, each franchisee and each franchisee center is unique and the franchisee is alone responsible for all employment matters in their center.
