Phlebotomist

We are seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Converse, TX. The role involves performing venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups and maintaining specimen logs in a timely and accurate manner.

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient data accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administer clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• 1+ year of experience as a phlebotomist.

• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
• Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test.

Phlebotomy Service Technicians (PSTs) may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
