What You'll Do

The Project Coordinator – Rebar supports the successful planning, coordination, scheduling, and execution of rebar projects from fabrication through final delivery. This role works closely with project managers, fabrication teams, field personnel, vendors, and customers to ensure materials are produced, scheduled, and delivered accurately and on time. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced construction and manufacturing environment where effective communication and proactive coordination are essential to project success.

Project

Coordination & Planning
  • Coordinate project activities from initial planning through project completion
  • Review project specifications, drawings, material requirements, and schedules to ensure accuracy
  • Monitor project milestones, timelines, and delivery commitments
  • Track project progress and communicate updates to customers, field personnel, and internal teams
  • Assist with project documentation, change requests, and project closeout activities
Scheduling & Dispatch Coordination
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate rebar deliveries based on project schedules and customer requirements
  • Coordinate delivery schedules with fabrication, operations, drivers, and field personnel
  • Review job orders to verify completeness and readiness before scheduling deliveries
  • Communicate delivery changes, delays, and schedule updates proactively
  • Monitor project logistics to ensure efficient material flow and on-time delivery
Customer & Internal Communication
  • Serve as a primary point of contact between project managers, fabrication teams, field personnel, vendors, suppliers, and customers
  • Coordinate meetings and facilitate communication across departments to support project success
  • Respond promptly to customer questions and project-related concerns
  • Build positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Documentation & Administrative Support
  • Maintain accurate project schedules, delivery logs, material requests, and project records
  • Review and process project documentation, including orders, revisions, and change requests
  • Assist with project reporting, cost tracking, and operational documentation
  • Ensure project information is accurately maintained within company business systems
Material & Production Coordination
  • Coordinate with fabrication and production teams to ensure materials meet project specifications
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with material planning as needed
  • Verify material counts and support inventory accuracy initiatives
  • Identify material shortages or production issues and coordinate timely resolutions
Continuous Improvement
  • Identify opportunities to improve project workflows and operational efficiency
  • Support process improvement initiatives across project management, fabrication, and logistics
  • Assist with onboarding and training of team members as appropriate
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and safe work practices
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
