Job Overview

As a Field Merchandiser
, you will work independently to showcase your organization and time‑management skills, establish retailer relationships, and represent Hallmark to store teams. You will collaborate with local staff to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support team members with seasonal resets and installations when needed. Occasionally, you may work with additional product lines from other companies within the stores you service.

• Your starting hourly pay rate will be $12.50–$14.50 per hour depending on your skills and experience.
• We provide paid training, delivered through live, hands‑on instruction as well as virtual classroom training.

• This is a Part‑Time position with a variable schedule during the work week.
• Average weekly hours for this position are between 10–13 hours per week.
• Availability the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends, is required.
• Availability to support seasonal changeovers, extended services, installations and inventory support.

• Day‑to‑day engagement: Using a mobile device provided by Hallmark, you will restock, organize, and monitor inventory of Hallmark products within and outside the Hallmark department. You will use technology for communication with your supervisor, reporting time, providing feedback, and completing required surveys.
• Holiday support: Additional days and extended hours are expected during high‑demand holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. You may be required to work on the actual holiday and weekends.
• Department resets: You may be part of a team responsible for installing fixtures, relocating card departments and products, and resetting card sections. Installations are typically notified two weeks in advance and may require evenings or weekends.
• Team collaboration: As part of Hallmark’s field organization, you will support other merchandisers within your network when needed.

This is a physically demanding job that requires a high level of energy and a sense of urgency. You will work on the selling floor and in back stockrooms, consistently pushing, pulling, lifting and carrying cartons, merchandise and display fixtures up to 30 pounds throughout the workday and up to 50 pounds on occasion. You will be required to kneel, squat, walk, stand, and may need to climb stairs or step ladders.

• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to read, write and understand English.
• Ability to regularly lift, pull and carry products up to 30 pounds, and occasionally 50 pounds.
• Proficiency in operating a digital hand‑held device to open and read documents and interpret information.
• Access to a Wi‑Fi network and the internet.
• Consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
