What You'll DoTravel to customer locations throughout the Converse / San Antonio area to perform maintenance and repairs on light and medium duty vehicles, including gas and diesel-powered pickup trucks (Ford F-250, F-350, and similar platforms).Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and fuel system issues in the field using diagnostic tools and service manuals.

Execute both scheduled and unscheduled mobile repairs with minimal supervision, ensuring safety and performance standards.

Communicate clearly with customers on-site, providing detailed service recommendations and updates.

Maintain accurate, detailed records of all repairs and maintenance activities.

Stay current on industry advancements and apply expertise to improve repair processes.

What You Bring High school diploma or GED.
3+ years of hands-on experience repairing light to medium duty gas and diesel vehicles.

Experience diagnosing and repairing diesel pickup trucks, including Ford Power Stroke engines (6.7L, 6.0L, 7.3L), is highly preferred.

Working knowledge of automotive electrical systems, fuel systems, and general drivetrain components.

Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently in the field under pressure.

Ability to provide own tools suitable for the job.

Valid driver's license and clean driving record required — you'll be operating a company-provided service vehicle daily.

Ability to pass background checks.

Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in varied outdoor and roadside environments.

Preferred Qualifications

ASE certifications (A-series automotive or L1 Advanced Engine Performance).Ford-specific training or dealership experience is a strong plus.

Prior field service or mobile repair experience.

Strong communication and customer service skills — you'll be the face of Transwest at every job site.
