Walmart is hiring General Maintenance Technicians. You will impact the store by diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance duties for all commercial equipment. You will develop maintenance schedules, complete PMs in time, and train Store Associates on equipment care.

• Perform minor repairs on facilities, equipment, or fixtures (e.g., plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment, food equipment).
• Complete routine maintenance to ensure safety and proper functionality.
• Manage work orders and maintenance schedules, completing required written and electronic information (e.g., expense vouchers, weekly summaries, work orders, maintenance logs).

• Previous experience in maintenance (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment, food equipment).
• Understand the importance of customer service and communicate clearly, transparently, and respectfully.
• Drive personal accountability and use effective time management to achieve commitments.
• Adapt to changing demands using solid judgment to identify priorities.
• Believe in Servant Leadership and work as a team to achieve goals.

• 3 years of experience in maintenance.
• Vocational or Technical certification AND a minimum of 3 years in one of the following trades: plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade; OR 5 years in one of the listed trades.
• Valid state‑issued driver’s license for at least 3 years with a clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR.
• Eligible for a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).

• Completion of a 2‑year vocational or technical trade program.
• License in the related trade in the city or state where the job is located.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
