Laborer
Primoris Services Corporation is seeking a reliable and physically capable Laborer to assist our teams with various construction and infrastructure projects. This role involves manual labor and support tasks, contributing to the efficient and safe completion of projects. This position does not require driving company vehicles.
Perform a variety of manual labor tasks, including digging, trenching, lifting, carrying, and moving materials and equipment. Assist skilled tradespersons (e.g., pipe fitters, electricians, welders) with their tasks by providing tools, materials, and support. Load and unload trucks and other vehicles with materials, tools, and equipment. Prepare work sites by clearing debris, setting up safety barriers, and organizing tools. Clean and maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order.
Follow all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment. Operate small hand and power tools as instructed and trained. Assist with the setup and teardown of job sites and temporary structures. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or foremen.
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods, including lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, bending, and stooping. Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions. Strong work ethic and ability to follow instructions accurately. Commitment to safety and adherence to all safety protocols. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Previous experience in a construction or manual labor role is a plus, but not required.
Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
