We're seeking a skilled CDL Fuel Tanker Driver to join our team in Converse, TX (near San Antonio). You'll play a key role in keeping our customers' operations running safely and efficiently by transporting petroleum products to customer job sites and performing basic preventative maintenance on heavy equipment, including fueling, checking fluid levels, and greasing equipment.

Minimum Requirements
  • Valid Class A or B CDL required
  • Tanker and Hazmat (X) endorsement required
  • Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience required
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
  • Must possess effective written and oral communication skills
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills and problem-solving techniques and skills
  • Capability to work weekends
Responsibilities
  • Safely operate a Transport or Tankwagon truck to deliver fuels and service construction equipment at customer job sites.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and operate in compliance with DOT, OSHA, and company safety standards.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on heavy equipment, including checking and topping off engine oil, hydraulic oil, coolant, transmission fluid, diesel, and DEF.
  • Grease and lubricate construction equipment to help keep customer fleets operating efficiently.
  • Identify fluid specifications and ensure the correct products are used for each piece of equipment.
  • Build strong relationships with customers by providing safe, reliable, and professional service.
  • Communicate with dispatch and job site personnel to coordinate daily routes and equipment service needs.
  • Prepare the service truck each day by restocking fuel, DEF, lubricants, and other supplies for the next day's route.
  • Report equipment issues, safety concerns, and maintenance needs promptly.
Qualifications
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and knowledge of motor fluids.
  • Understanding of diesel and DEF systems.
  • Ability to safely climb and work on heavy equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize daily routes.
