Controller, Accounting, Accounting Manager

Description

An established and growing construction company is seeking an experienced Controller to lead its accounting operations and financial reporting functions. This hands-on leadership opportunity offers hybrid flexibility, competitive compensation, and robust benefits.

What You'll Do:

+ Lead all aspects of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes

+ Prepare and review financial statements and reconciliations

+ Design, implement, and monitor internal controls

+ Oversee AP, AR, billing, inventory, and cost accounting functions

+ Drive process improvements and support system enhancements

+ Mentor and develop accounting team members

Requirements

What We're Looking For:

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA preferred

+ 5-6+ years of progressive accounting experience

+ Strong technical accounting skills and deep GAAP knowledge

+ Project accounting, job costing, and process improvement experience

+ Demonstrated leadership ability
