Middle School Bookkeeper
The Middle School Bookkeeper is responsible for overseeing the financial and registration duties of the school in accordance with all District policies. Follows and maintains knowledge of all District policies and procedures. Enters leave of absence information into accounting system (eFinance). Follows all purchasing policies and procedures as outlined in the District Bookkeeping Procedures manual. Follows all policies and procedures for handling cash and checks as outlined in the District Bookkeeping Procedures manual.
Orders supplies and merchandise. Reconciles and pays warehouse tickets. Tracks individual teacher budgets. Runs budget reports from accounting system (eFinance), as needed by the administration. Updates payroll. Sends monthly reports to the Central Office on activity budgets, payroll, etc. Completes registration for new students, including entering information into eSchool. Drops students, when appropriate, following District procedures. Sends and requests student records, as needed.
Follows all procedures concerning confidentiality of records. Completes basic tasks necessary for effective operation of the school office. Other duties, as assigned.
