Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong technology skills
• Ability to work well with others

Reports to:
Principal

Supervises:
Not applicable

Terms of Employment:
The contract length will be 205 days.

Evaluation:
Based on local district policy and performed by the building principal who is assisted by the assistant principal in regard to evaluations.

Job Goal:
The Secondary Secretary is responsible for overseeing the office management of the school in accordance with all District policies.

Performance Responsibilities:

• Follows and maintains knowledge of all District policies and procedures.
• Checks students in and out of school.
• Completes daily attendance records, including entering documentation for excused absences.
• Generates attendance reports, as needed.
• Generates and mails five- and ten-day notice letters to parents/guardians as instructed by building administration.
• Files attendance notices with local juvenile agency as instructed by building administration.
• Follows all procedures concerning confidentiality of records.
• Completes basic tasks necessary for effective operation of the school office.
