- Lead a small team of branch associates focused on contributing to new revenue by identifying customer needs and providing guidance on Regions solutions.
- Conduct outside sales efforts to generate new business clients while maintaining and expanding existing consumer and business banking relationships.
- Educate associates, customers, and communities about best practices for financial wellness and Regions technologies (mobile, online, ATM) designed to make banking easier.
- Coach and develop branch associates through execution of Regions iConnect process with guidance from mentors and internal support partners.
- Provide consistent coaching to strengthen product knowledge and identify customer needs.
- Educate and advise customers on Regions Consumer and Business products and services, including loans, deposits, annuities, and life insurance.
- Ensure a consistent, optimal customer experience, including handling transactional needs as needed to meet customer preferences.
- Resolve escalated customer and associate issues in partnership with senior leadership and Human Resources.
- Manage recruiting and selection for the assigned branch and maintain relationships with Line of Business partners to refer complex needs to internal experts.
- Follow all bank policies, procedures, laws, and internal audit requirements; ensure branch associates complete delegated operational risk management duties and maintain sound banking practices.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Two (2) years of financial services, sales, or sales management experience
- Ability to obtain an active Life Insurance License within twelve (12) months and maintain continuing education requirements
- Ability to work on Saturdays as needed
- College degree
- Life Insurance License
- Supervisory experience in financial services
- Five (5) years of banking and/or lending experience
- Five (5) years of relationship-based client consultation experience
- Mastery of key guidance and education concepts
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
- Ability to provide effective feedback and guidance
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities
This position is exempt from timekeeping under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay. It is incentive eligible. Registration with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) is required. See (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). for more information.
