Overview

Cypress Creek Energy is seeking a part‑time Community Liaison to serve as a local, on‑the‑ground representative in Wilson, Arkansas. This role is critical to maintaining strong relationships with community members, local stakeholders, and project partners.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, personable, and skilled at translating complex project information into clear, accessible communication for a broad audience. Established relationships within Wilson and the surrounding region are strongly preferred, as this role relies on trust, local knowledge, and community connectivity.

Work Schedule
  • On‑site in Wilson, AR office and off‑site meetings and events in the region
  • Monday–Thursday: 10 AM – 3 PM (20 hrs/week)
  • Additional hours may be available and expected, up to 30 hrs per week in total. May include weekends and evenings.
Responsibilities
  • Maintain regular office hours and serve as the primary point of contact for local residents and stakeholders
  • Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and host in‑person meetings with community members
  • Communicate project updates clearly and effectively to non‑technical audiences
  • Document stakeholder questions, concerns, and feedback; maintain accurate records in internal databases
  • Draft and edit content for newsletters, websites, and community communications
  • Plan and coordinate community events, meetings, and public outreach efforts
  • Organize and facilitate site tours for stakeholders and partner groups
  • Collaborate closely with construction partners and internal teams to address community concerns promptly
  • Identify and elevate potential risks or emerging issues to management
  • Maintain an organized office environment and support general administrative needs
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Education & Experience Required
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable engaging with diverse audiences
  • Established relationships and strong community ties within Wilson, Arkansas, and the surrounding region highly preferred
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to explain complex or technical information in a clear, relatable way for general audiences
  • Experience in community relations, stakeholder engagement, or event planning preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong writing and editing skills
  • Self‑starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Professional, approachable demeanor with a customer‑service mindset

Location

Must be based in or near Wilson, Arkansas, and able to consistently perform work across office, community, and on‑site settings.
