Position Summary
University Marketing and Communications is seeking student freelance photographers to photograph campus events and assist with other projects. Student work may be featured in UCA publications, social media campaigns, or billboard placements.
This position does not guarantee weekly hours; it works on projects as needed and as available. Scheduled hours and events will vary, including nights/weekends.
There will be semi-regular meetings for photo critiques and other development meetings.
Must provide a resume and a photography portfolio (attachments or links; no Instagram).
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Familiar with shooting in manual mode
- Ability to edit photos using Lightroom and Photoshop
- Familiar with flash photography
- Experience photographing live events
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
- Ability to edit and deliver photographs within deadline
- Willingness and excitement to learn and develop in photography
