• Building Administrator Certification preferred or currently enrolled in a Leadership Degree program of study.

Secondary (5-12) Dean - The contract length will be 210 days. The salary schedule will be based on A&J schedule posted on the CPSD website.

Based on local district policy and Arkansas Department of Education guidelines, and performed by the principal.

The Dean of Students will actively supervise students at all times and assist with designated student discipline per the principal's direction.

• Follows and maintains knowledge of all District policies and procedures.
• Supervises students (before school, class changes, lunch, and after school).
• Supervises students at extracurricular activities on campus as well as at other schools and locations.
• Dispenses student discipline for tardies, truancy, and other minor infractions, as designated by the building principal.
• Enters discipline into the software program minimally every two weeks for the discipline he/she dispenses.
• Follows up with students who miss detention and/or Saturday School.
• Provides frequent and consistent contact with parents about discipline as well as initiates positive feedback about students.
• Assists other administrators with discipline, as needed.
• Supervises emergency drills and submits any documentation, when appropriate.
• Assists with maintenance requests and custodial supervision.
• Monitors internal and external security protocols and procedures of facilities on campus.
• Other duties, as assigned.
