Adjunct/Part Time (Principles of Accounting)

Position Summary

Teach Principles of Financial and/or Managerial Accounting face-to-face. The course runs through the fall semester 8/20/26 – 12/11/2026.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare lectures that encourage engagement with the required materials.
  • Prepare and administer grade opportunities including homework, exams, and possibly other grade opportunities.
  • Respond to student contact in a timely manner by email, phone, or in-person or virtual meetings.
  • Submit student grades by the required date at the end of the semester.

Required Education and/or Experience

Applicants for this position should hold at least a Master’s degree in accounting. Graduate degrees in related fields may apply if the applicant has accounting experience and/or a significant number of accounting courses.

License(s)/Certifications (Preferred)

CPA or other accounting certification is preferred (active, retired, or inactive).
