Position: Adjunct/Part Time (Business Law)

Adjunct/Part Time (Business Law)

Teach Legal Environment of Business, face-to-face or online. The course runs through the fall semester 8/20/2026 – 12/11/2026.

Job Duties and Responsibilities Face-to-Face Instructor
  • Prepare lectures that encourage engagement with the required materials.
  • Prepare and administer grade opportunities including homework, exams, and other assignments.
  • Respond to student contact in a timely manner by email, phone, or in-person or virtual meetings.
  • Submit student grades by the required date at the end of the semester.
  • Online Instructor
  • Prepare scheduled online (asynchronous) activities that encourage an understanding of covered topics.
  • Provide regular and intentional faculty-to-student engagement, such as discussing topical issues, providing feedback, and motivating active participation.
  • Respond to student contact in a timely manner and be available for direct contact with students.
  • Provide graded activities for the material.
  • Submit student grades by the required date at the end of the semester.

    Required

    Education and/or Experience

    Applicants should hold a Juris Doctorate and have experience in business law. Similar education and/or experience will be considered.

    License(s)/Certifications

    An active license to practice law is preferred.
