Position Summary
TA (teaching assistant) for Chemistry are students who previously took the course and would like to help other students understand the purpose of experiments in Chemistry and help faculty in the laboratory setting.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Help faculty set up and put away equipment and chemicals
- Obtain supplies from the stockroom or dumbwaiter area when running low
- Help the faculty maintain lab safety and students practice good chemical hygiene practices (goggles over eyes, no food/drink in lab, proper lab attire, etc.)
- Potentially help faculty grade lab handouts.
Employment is contingent upon the availability of funds and course enrollments
