Job Overview
Advisor Development Program Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (ADP FSA I) at Bank of America. The role begins with obtaining Securities Industry licenses (Securities Industry Essentials [SIE], Series 7 and Series 66). Following licensing, you receive training on advisory skills, client relationship management, and financial guidance. After achieving milestones, you work in a financial center delivering core banking and investment solutions.
Success leads to progression to Merrill Financial Solutions Advisor and ultimately a core Merrill Financial Advisor.
- Prepare for and pass Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7 and Series 66 exams.
- Develop foundational advisory skills including building and managing client relationships.
- Evaluate clients’ financial situations and recommend solutions to meet their objectives.
- Provide client care through Bank of America’s core banking and investment services.
- Progress through ADP stages, eventually working with affluent and high‑net‑worth clients.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and perform ongoing regulatory due diligence.

Regulatory RequirementsThis position requires SAFE Act registration. Employees engaged in residential loan mortgage originations must register with the federal registry and remain in good standing. Failure to maintain registration may result in immediate termination.
