The Credit Risk Management Specialist I is responsible for supporting daily operations related to the Dealer Floor program. This role conducts second reviews of consumer and commercial loans involving adverse action and assists with general tasks within the Credit Risk Management department. The Credit Risk Management Specialist I utilizes consumer loan decision software, Decision Pro and LOS nCino.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty mentioned satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education and ExperienceKnowledge of a specialized field (however acquired), such as basic accounting or computer. Equivalent of four years in high school, plus night, trade, extension, or correspondence school specialized training, equal to two years of college, plus two years related experience and/or training.
Communication SkillsAbility to effectively communicate information and respond to questions in person-to-person and small group situations with customers, clients, general public and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical SkillsAbility to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Apply concepts such as fractions, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Critical Thinking SkillsAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of known variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram formats.
Software Skills RequiredIntermediate: 10‑Key, Alphanumeric Data Entry, Word Processing/Typing
Basic:
Accounting, Database, Presentation/Power Point
Normal working conditions as found within an office setting, with controlled temperature and low noise level, plus a minimum of distractions.
Environmental ConditionsThe noise level is moderate (business office with computers/printers, light traffic, etc.). Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Physical ActivitiesSemi‑repetitive, low physical effort. Requires periods of concentration for varied time cycles. Occasionally requires walking; continuously required to sit, use hand to finger, handle or feel, talk or hear; frequently required to reach with hands and arms. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Close vision required.
