Loan Servicing Tracking Specialist I

The Loan Servicing Tracking Specialist I reviews and tracks loan and credit documentation for new and existing loans to verify all bank policy or regulatory compliance requirements are met.

Essential duties and responsibilities include:

• Reviewing post-closing loan files for compliance and recording the results in the bank internal tracking system to ensure collateral position.
• Analyzing borrower credit file for adherence to the bank credit and underwriting policies and recording the results in the bank's internal tracking system.
• Ensuring continued compliance with the bank's credit, underwriting, and loan policies through follow-up credit documentation.
• Responding to phone or e-mail requests and inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Remaining knowledgeable of changes in the company loan, credit, and underwriting policy, as well as federal compliance regulations.
• Working in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
• Completing required BSA/AML training and other compliance training as assigned.
• Performing any other related duties as required or assigned.

Qualifications include:

• Knowledge of a specialized field, such as basic accounting, computer, etc. Equivalent of four years in high school, plus night, trade extension, or correspondence school specialized training, equal to two years of college, plus 2 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, notes, letters and memos; ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of known variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Ability to read and understand documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Intermediate: 10-Key, Alphanumeric Data Entry, Database, Word Processing/Typing
• Basic:
  Accounting, Spreadsheet

Working conditions are normal office settings with controlled temperature and low noise levels. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Physical activities include sitting, reaching, talking, hearing, using hands to finger, handle, or feel; occasionally standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

Additional information includes:

• Two (2) years of lending experience and/or training with regulatory compliance.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Strong attention to details.
• Ability to multi-task and handle pressure due to deadline restraints.
• Strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize workflow.
