Job Summary
A pharmacist who has earned a B.S.Pharm. or Pharm.
D. degree and is licensed to practice as a pharmacist in Arkansas will evaluate, recommend, design, implement, monitor, and/or modify patient‑specific pharmacotherapy. The pharmacist will provide clinical assistance to other healthcare professionals, ensure proper preparation, storage, and delivery of medications, and assist the Clinical Coordinator, Supervisors, and Director of Pharmacy in hospital and/or system‑wide medication‑management initiatives on an ongoing basis.
- Evaluate, recommend, design, implement, monitor, and modify patient‑specific pharmacotherapy.
- Provide clinical assistance to other healthcare professionals.
- Ensure proper preparation, storage, and delivery of medications.
- Assist the Clinical Coordinator, Supervisors, and Director of Pharmacy in hospital and/or system‑wide medication‑management initiatives.
- Graduate of an ACPE accredited College of Pharmacy with a Doctorate of Pharmacy degree preferred.
- Active license to practice Pharmacy from the Arkansas Board of Pharmacy (in good standing).
- Completion of an ASHP accredited PGY‑1 Residency program preferred.
- Eligible to precept IPPE and/or APPE students from ACPE accredited Colleges of Pharmacy.
