Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated COTA to join our in-house therapy team at The Springs of Waldron in Waldron, AR. As a COTA, you will work closely with our therapy staff to provide individualized treatments to our residents, focusing on improving their physical, emotional, and cognitive well-being. Responsibilities:- Assist occupational therapists in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans for residents
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident progress and treatment plans
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Provide support and education to residents, families, and caregivers regarding therapy programs and goals
- Maintain a safe and organized therapy environment, adhering to facility policies and procedures
- Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy assistant program
- Current state licensure/certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Minimum of 0 years of experience in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and staff
