You will support a kind and caring individual who values honesty, communication, and building meaningful relationships. Faith is an important part of their life, and they are interested in reconnecting with a church community and finding opportunities to live a more purposeful and fulfilling life.

The ideal DSP will be patient, genuine, and supportive while helping the individual work toward their goals. Staff will provide encouragement, listen to their preferences, and support their journey toward greater independence, community involvement, and future goals of having their own living environment.

• Age:
  Must be 18 years or older.
• Education:
  
  High school diploma, GED, or 1 year of relevant experience.
• Clearances:
  Ability to pass all required background checks and screenings.
• Mobility: A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (essential for community outings).
• Flexibility:
  Willingness to work weekends or fill-in shifts as needed.

• Work is performed in the individual's home, community settings, and agency sites.
• Position requires standing, walking, driving, and assisting with personal care.
• May involve physical tasks, lifting, or utilizing mobility-facilitating equipment.
• May involve navigating challenging behaviors; ASN provides comprehensive, ongoing training and team support to ensure your success and safety.
