Role:

Full Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

• Perform treatment, exercise instruction, and patient education to enhance patient well-being according to a plan of care.
• Follow state laws and supervise physical therapy under the guidance of a licensed PT, making recommendations for care adjustments.
• Instruct and assist patients with exercises, gait, ADL, transfers, safety, and prosthetic training.
• Observe, document, and report patient responses and condition changes to the supervising PT and healthcare team.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers within the scope of practice, ensuring appropriate care in diverse home settings.

• Current license, registration, or certification to practice in the relevant state.
• Valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, or reliable transportation.
• Availability for weekend rotations.
• Preferred: CPR certification and ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and mobility assistance.

Deliver patient-centered physical therapy, adhere to legal and safety standards, collaborate with healthcare team, and provide education to patients and families.
