Hiegel Construction LLC is seeking a Human Resources Manager to help drive core HR programs that support a steady, compliant, and engaged workforce. This on-site role in Conway, AR will focus on talent acquisition, employee relations, organizational development, and HR compliance, with an emphasis on streamlining HR processes and strengthening workplace culture.
What you’ll do- Design and implement talent acquisition strategies to attract top talent, leveraging HR sourcing tools and an ATS such as iCIMS, Taleo, or SAP Success Factors
. - Oversee employee orientation to support smooth onboarding and integration for new hires.
- Manage employee evaluation processes, including performance management systems and recurring feedback cycles to encourage ongoing growth.
- Lead change management efforts tied to organizational growth, restructuring, or process improvements through clear communication and stakeholder engagement.
- Administer benefits and related programs, including workers’ compensation claims and FMLA compliance
, to support employee well-being and legal requirements. - Coordinate training and development sessions to strengthen workforce capabilities, leadership development, and succession planning.
- Maintain regulatory compliance with employment and labor law,
OSHA standards
, and HR legal requirements through policy updates and staff training.
- Proven experience in human resources management with strong knowledge of HR department operations.
- Demonstrated expertise in human capital management, workforce management, and organizational design.
- Proficiency with HR systems such as Oracle HCM, Ulti Pro, Kronos, Dayforce or similar platforms, and strong Excel skills for data analysis (advanced capability is highly desirable).
- Strong knowledge of employment law as it relates to talent management, affirmative action planning, conflict management, and personnel administration.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle confidential information while supporting positive employee relations.
- Experience applying project management methodologies to initiatives such as benefits administration or HRIS implementations.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail in data collection, data entry, and administrative tasks.
