IT Support, Systems Administrator

The Applications Administrator III administers the technology and workflows associated with the software applications. This position acts as a liaison with designated departments, application vendors, training, and other support staff to ensure the highest level of service and availability in a fast‑paced, constantly growing financial institution. The Applications Administrator III is responsible for customization requests, standardized user security, security groups, application optimization, understanding and documenting the information and business needs, and working with the IT department for the installation of approved upgrades and maintaining and supporting the application environment.
The position is involved in designing new features and configurations for the system, as well as testing methodologies to evaluate the performance of the system. The Application Administrator III will also mentor Applications Admin I and II to advance their knowledge and expertise.
To perform this job successfully, the candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in a related field and four years of related experience or training. The following technical and soft skills are required:
- Experience with Retail, Lending, Enterprise and Deposit Operations applications.
- Strong knowledge of application security, user management, and workflow customization.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and performance monitoring.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
Preferred certifications include:
- Service Now Certified Administrator
- nCino Certified Administrator
- Sales Force Certified Administrator
- Encompass Certified Administrator
- ITIL V3 or V4 Foundations
Software skills: intermediate proficiency in data entry, contact management, spreadsheet and word processing.
WORKING CONDITIONSNormal office conditions with controlled temperature and low noise. A vehicle may be required for on‑site duties, and a personal or business vehicle will be subject to pre‑ and post‑employment screening.
PHYSICAL ACTIVITIESWork activities are primarily sedentary with occasional walking and lifting up to 10 pounds.
