The IT Infrastructure Specialist provides technical support and maintenance for IT systems including servers, networks, operating systems, and storage systems that support Arkansas IDEAS, a statewide professional development resource for K-12 educators. Working as part of a small technology team in Conway, the specialist assists with system administration, troubleshooting, automation efforts, and infrastructure improvements to ensure reliable, secure access to critical educational content.
Keyqualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Knowledge of computer networking concepts, operating systems, server infrastructure, and storage technologies
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, networking, and system performance issues
- Ability to install, configure, maintain, and monitor IT infrastructure components
- Preferred: 1+ years experience with Moodle LMS, Linux administration, VMware virtualization, or web application hosting environments
