Our client in north central Arkansas is seeking a CNC Technician to support their advanced manufacturing operations through hands-on set-up and operation of multi-spindle CNC mills and related production systems.

There are multiple 2nd and 3rd shift openings.

Relocation Assistance may be provided for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Sets up and operates numerical control machines or machining centers to perform various machine functions such as cutting, drilling, milling, reaming, boring, and broaching of metallic and nonmetallic work pieces by performing the following duties.
• Repairing or replacing all broken components on machines
• Work with setup personnel on all machine along with programmers and engineers
• Complete understanding on how a CNC machine operates
• Experience in using measuring devices (calipers, micrometers, test tools etc.)
• Knowledge and use of basic tools used daily on the job
• Must be able to replace bearings, guides, ball screws etc.
• To keep abreast of the requirements related to its activity of quality safety and environment

Requirements:

• High School Diploma / GED
• Must have at least 5 years experience in CNC Machining
• Knowledge in changing spindles and setting up them after installation
• Experience in Hydraulics, valves, pumps and motors troubleshooting and replacing
• Experience in the use of CNC controls how to move individual axes as needed to operate machines
