Shipping and Receiving Associate

Penmac Staffing is hiring a Shipping and Receiving Associate for a local client in Conway, AR. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity offering $17.00 per hour with a consistent Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. schedule.

• Ability to work effectively with production staff, management, purchasing personnel, and vendors
• Good computer and keyboarding skills
• Ability to perform basic math calculations
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Forklift experience is helpful

• Maintain accurate inventory records and update internal databases
• Pull and stage materials and parts using pick lists
• Verify incoming shipments and inspect items for damage
  
  Report shipment discrepancies or damages as needed
• Prepare outgoing shipments by packaging materials and building pallets or crates
• Retrieve items for processing and shipping
• Record all received and shipped goods using Global Shop software
• Operate a forklift as needed
• Pick up orders and materials from vendors when required
• Assist with periodic physical inventory counts and audits
