RN- Vascular Access

Overview

The Vascular Access Registered Nurse (RN) will assume responsibility and accountability for infants, children, adults, and geriatric patients with various types of vascular access needs. The Vascular Access RN is a nurse who has received specialized training in Peripherally Inserted Central Catheter (PICC) placement and has demonstrated competency and expertise in vascular access. The RN should exhibit multi-tasking capabilities and be able to assess, perform, and manage vascular access needs.

The RN will utilize the nursing process in the provision of care and will practice within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act of the State of Arkansas and adhere to policies, procedures, and standards of Conway Regional Medical Center. The RN will demonstrate a commitment to teamwork through effective collaborative efforts.

This position is a designated as “Safety Sensitive Position” under Act 593 of the State of Arkansas. An employee who is under the influence of Marijuana constitutes a threat to patients/customers which Conway Regional is responsible for in providing and supporting the delivery health care related services.

• Registered nurse with current active Arkansas license
• Proof of highest level of nursing education achieved
