Assessment and Referral Registered Nurse (RN) – Night Shift 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. / Saturday and Sunday / Not remote – Not PRN
Rivendell Behavioral Health Services is looking for an Admissions and Referral Registered Nurse (RN). This position requires handling a multitude of situations and patient populations, and effective communication with referral sources. The RN renders professional nursing care to patients within the assessment and admission process, performs ongoing patient assessment through observation of physical and behavioral symptomatology, documents all data accurately and promptly, participates in formulation of individual care plans for all patients, implements plans according to hospital policy, communicates pertinent data to other service areas as needed, and encompasses responsibilities delegated to A & R representatives as regularly required.
The RN operates in accordance with the competency guidelines and full scope of practice within the Rules and Regulations of Registered Nurses outlined by the Arkansas Board of Nursing and agency operating policies, protocols, and standards.
QualificationsMust be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and hold an AR RN license or be license eligible. New graduates welcome to apply. CPR and Handle with Care/Verbal De-escalation offered upon hire. Mandatory certifications. Ability to work harmoniously and effectively with patients, families, visitors and staff. Must be able to work as a team with all staff/coworkers and maintain respect for all patients.
