Responsibilities
Accepts responsibility for the overall resident care and staffing. Policy and procedures are implemented which result in efficient and effective operation of the facility. Standards of Long Term Care are met through the involvement in the quality assurance process. Assists with evaluation and supports the employee development and training process. Responds appropriately during emergency situations. Provides a clean and safe environment for residents and staff.
Consistently demonstrates the ability to obtain and interpret information / assess residents needs. Implements the plan of care directed by the physician. Able to communicate with others health care providers information pertinent to continuity of care. Supervises care given by staff. Assesses care given for effectiveness and documents appropriately. Plan and implement care given to entire population. Is consistent, fair and a role model for others.
Acquires and maintains current knowledge and competency in nursing practice. Maintains a professional image. Reports to Director of Nursing as instructed to ensure standards of care are met.
- Arkansas state RN license in good standing.
- Long Term Care experience preferred.
- Able to work with Geriatric population and their family's.
- Communicates clearly verbally and in written form.
- Problem solves, prioritizes and directs others appropriately.
- Fosters team work and participates in team building.
- Displays enthusiasm for serving others and respects diversity.
- Honest, trustworthy, respectful, dedicated, flexible, loyal and dependable.
This job will be authorized 0.01 hours bi-weekly.
