Position Summary
The University of Central Arkansas ( UCA ) is seeking a full-time, tenure-track Clinical Instructor I (9-month appointment) to join the School of Nursing. This on-campus role is designed for a master’s prepared Family Nurse Practitioner who will shape the next generation of nursing professionals. The successful candidate will lead innovative educational programs, conduct scholarly research, and contribute to a supportive, inclusive academic environment.

. This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency/institution policy. The position is non-tenure track and a nine-month appointment.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
This non-tenure track position focuses on teaching, curriculum development, assessment and evaluation, collaboration and mentorship. The faculty member will facilitate student learning, engage in research and scholarship, focus on continuous professional development and provide institutional, professional and community service.

Help students integrate the values and behaviors expected of nurses. Use a variety of strategies to assess and evaluate student learning.
Assist with formulating program outcomes and designing curricula that reflect contemporary health care trends.
