Job Overview
Acxiom Salesforce Practice, a Salesforce Summit Partner, is seeking an Advisory Solutions Director – Salesforce Health Cloud & Life Sciences to join our remote North American‑based Sales and Marketing Team. The role focuses on expanding Acxiom’s footprint within the Life Sciences, Healthcare, and Health Tech sectors through consultative selling of Salesforce Health Cloud and Multi‑Cloud Solutions. You will engage with organizations across pharmaceuticals, medical devices, biotech, and healthcare services, helping them drive innovation, improve patient and provider engagement, and enable data‑driven growth using Salesforce technology.
In addition, the position involves expanding Acxiom’s client base in the Media and Telecom industry through consultative selling of Salesforce products.
Responsibilities- Drive strategic growth within the Media and Telecom verticals by positioning related multi‑cloud offerings (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Commerce Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Media Cloud, Communications Cloud, Data
360 and Agentforce). - Advise clients on Acxiom’s data management strategies to optimize Data
360 and Agentforce. - Lead solution strategy sessions, opportunity analysis, account discovery, proposal presentations, and statement of work (SOW) negotiations with C‑level stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Salesforce account executives and ecosystem partners to identify and close new logo opportunities in Media and Telecom.
- Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and solution demonstrations aligned to client business and technology objectives.
- Manage and influence the complete sales cycle, ensuring a seamless transition from strategy through implementation.
- Build long‑term strategic relationships within the Media and Telecom ecosystem to support sustained growth.
- Work cross‑functionally with Acxiom advisory, engineering, delivery and marketing teams to develop industry‑specific go‑to‑market strategies and solution offerings.
- Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and reporting aligned with company goals and sales targets.
- Stay informed on emerging trends in Media and Telecom to position Acxiom as a trusted thought leader.
- Engage with Life Sciences clients across pharmaceuticals, medical devices, biotech, and healthcare services to drive innovation.
- Advise on Salesforce Health Cloud strategy and data solutions for improved patient/provider engagement.
- Lead solution strategy, account discovery, proposals, and SOW negotiations with C‑level stakeholders in the health sector.
- Collaborate with Salesforce health experts and partners to close new opportunities.
- Develop and deliver compelling health‑specific sales presentations and solution demos.
- Manage full sales cycle from strategy to implementation and build long‑term relationships in the health domain.
- Work cross‑functionally to develop industry‑specific go‑to‑market strategies for Health Cloud.
- 5+ years of sales or account executive experience, preferably within Salesforce ecosystem consulting or services.
- 3+ years of experience working with Media and Telecom clients.
- Proven experience selling Salesforce Platform and related Salesforce industry solutions and/or accelerators.
- Demonstrated success managing complex enterprise sales cycles and multi‑stakeholder environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Media, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Salesforce certifications in multiple Core Clouds, Media Cloud, and Communications Cloud are strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Commerce Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Media Cloud, Communications Cloud, Data
360, Agentforce). - Familiarity with Media and Telecom business processes and industry challenges.
- Exceptional consultative selling and strategic solutioning skills.
