Position: Technical Sales Manager  (M/F)

AQUATURBO SYSTEMS in Springdale, AR, a subsidiary of a French international group, with production sites in Halle, Belgium and Springdale, Arkansas in the United States. The company is active worldwide in the manufacture and sale of equipment in the water treatment market (aeration, mixing, sludge treatment and settling). To support the growth of our business, we are looking for:

Technical Sales Manager (M/F)

Job Description
  • Develop and grow sales within an assigned territory across North America and Canada.
  • After in-house training, you will be an integral part of our sales department.
  • The Sales Manager will work with the engineering team to develop custom solutions for customers, combining technical and commercial aspects throughout the sales cycle.
  • Lead follow-up, negotiations, and closing of contracts.
  • Build long‑term relationships with municipalities, industrial clients, and engineering firms.
  • Reporting to the Sales Director, you will participate in defining and executing the commercial strategy.
  • Travel requirements (+/- 30% of the time) are to be expected in N. America (customer visits, trade shows) and possibly limited travel outside the US.
  • Being located in Northwest Arkansas is a plus but is not a requirement.
Profile
  • Proven experience in technical sales (capital equipment or engineered solutions preferred)
  • Strong commercial drive and ability to manage long sales cycles.
  • Experience in the wastewater sector is a strong plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self‑driven, results‑oriented, and comfortable working independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools
  • Bachelor’s degree is a plus but not required
Success after 12-18 months
  • Has developed a strong understanding of Aquaturbo's product portfolio and applications.
  • Contributes to solid growth in the region, accomplishing established targets.
  • Maintains strong relationships with key distributors, engineering firms, and end users across the assigned territory.
  • Customer looks at him as a reliable partner providing technical support with a high level of satisfaction.
