Job Summary
Under general supervision, manage the relationship with existing accounts, maintain a book of business, and generate revenue on assigned accounts. Serve as the primary interface for all products and services and create demand for the organization's products and services.
Responsibilities- Review accounts and sell new business to existing accounts.
- Convert accounts to a higher level, and be responsible for new account installation as needed.
- Create demand for the organization's products and services by working with national and regional accounts.
- Build and maintain a sales territory of smaller accounts in secondary and tertiary markets, focusing on sales and customer relationships.
- Conduct regular status and strategy meetings with customers to understand their needs and link them to product/service strategies.
- Coordinate sales forecasts with the internal team.
- Manage co‑op accruals and set‑up new customers into Medline’s systems.
- Create new products to sell to existing and new customers.
- Increase revenue spend per account.
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of quota‑based sales experience demonstrating cold‑calling, commissioned, full‑cycle sales experience—or 5 years of similar experience.
- Ability to sell effectively to different levels within a customer organization and to identify, connect with, and close new business.
- Complex sales strategy/approach to sell solutions across multiple levels.
- Background in commissioned, tangible product sales.
- Track record of demonstrable sales growth and quota attainment.
- Ability to present multiple product lines.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Stable work history.
- Computer proficiency, especially in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to drive a car, travel 90% of each day, and interact with healthcare providers on‑site.
- First‑year guarantee of $100,000, with the potential to earn more.
- $75,000 minimum base salary, eligible for 100% commission/Spiffs.
- Bonus‑eligible and will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
- Health, life and disability insurance, 401(k) contributions, paid time off, and additional benefits for employees working 30 or more hours per week.
- For employees working fewer than 30 hours per week, benefits include 401(k) contributions, paid time off, the Employee Assistance Program, Employee Resource Groups, and the Employee Service Corp.
