The Direct Sales Agent Specialist (Direct Auto Insurance is an Allstate Business) is responsible for the profitable growth and attainment of business goals by driving new business sales and understanding customers’ needs to build rapport and trust. This position drives sales and builds and retains their book of business within the market / retail location. This position is responsible for attracting and generating new customers and cross-selling existing customers, in support of our product offerings including but not limited to Auto, Life, Auto Club, and Roadside Assistance.
This role sells to walk-in customers, markets products outside of the office via marketing calls and in-person visits creating community relationships to promote continued growth and assists customers in the office.
The Direct Sales Agent Specialist is responsible for driving profitable growth by generating new business, cross-selling existing customers, and building lasting relationships. This role focuses on understanding customer needs, delivering tailored solutions, and maintaining a strong book of business.
This role sells to local customers both in person and over the phone, while driving growth through community involvement, relationship building, and outside marketing efforts.
As a Direct Sales Agent Specialist, you will:- Achieve sales goals through new business, cross-sell, and retention
- Build and maintain a consistent pipeline, including local lead generation and referrals
- Develop relationships within the community (e.g., dealerships, events, local partners) to support business growth
- Conduct outbound prospecting and follow-ups to convert opportunities into sales
- Partner with leadership to support sales and local marketing initiatives
- Stay informed on products, underwriting guidelines, and market competition
- Deliver results aligned with performance standards, compliance requirements, and customer experience expectations

- P&C licensing (Preferred) or must attain required licensure within 90 days of joining the company

In addition to the base hourly rate, total compensation for this role may include incentive pay, such as commissions and bonuses, based on individual and team performance.
