Job Details
Schedule:
Saturday‑Tuesday, 6pm‑4:30am. Compensation: $18.50 per hour.

- Operate lift truck continually on shift. Must be proficient in driving backwards and look in the direction of travel on a continual basis.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on vehicles and auxiliary equipment, such as cleaning or recharging batteries (operating a man‑on‑board battery (magnetic) system) and refer defects or repairs to supervisor/maintenance.
- Inspect condition of product verifying that it is free of damage or contamination.
- Move and place product safely and securely in its proper storage location.
- Stage product for outbound loads with correct requirements.
- Remove and empty waste bins into proper receptacles.
- Move controls to drive lift trucks and transport raw materials, finishing supplies or finished product to and from the warehouse, trailers or operating lines.
- Move levers and controls that operate lifting devices, such as forklifts, lift beams and swivel‑hooks, hoists, and elevating platforms, to load, unload, transport, and stack material.
- Position lifting devices under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, and boxes, and secure material or products for transport to designated areas.
- Manually load or unload materials onto or off pallets, skids, platforms, or lifting devices.
- Operate a powered air‑supplied respirator to perform cleaning functions.
- Housekeeping of department/areas.
- Reliable attendance at scheduled shifts.
- Perform all duties in conformance with appropriate safety and security standards.
- Perform all other duties as assigned or needed.
- Attendance – Ability to work required schedule, arrive on time, and work overtime during busy season.
- Communication – Ability to effectively communicate in writing and verbally in a courteous and professional manner, understand and follow verbal and written instruction.
- Mathematics – Ability to perform basic math in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
- Language – Ability to identify and compare letters and numbers, read and interpret documents such as receivers, invoices, operating instructions, procedure manuals, and write simple sentences.
- Diversity Oriented – Ability to work effectively with people regardless of age, gender, race, ethnicity, religion, or job type.
- Relationship Building – Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers, co‑workers, and management.

- Paperwork – Completion – Ability to complete necessary paperwork neatly and accurately according to established guidelines, properly count, document, or scan the number of units as needed.
- Paperwork – Verification – Ability to verify paperwork to ensure customer receives correct product; inspect condition of product received and product going out for quality.

- Education:
High School Graduate or GED preferred. - Experience:
Two years related experience in warehouse or manufacturing environment. - Computer
Skills:
Basic computer or tablet skills; hand‑held radio. - Certificates & Licenses:
Forklift Certification preferred. Must be able to complete Holman’s forklift certification program.
